I’m very excited to offer Kid’s Craft Club this Fall 2026, in Citrus County Florida!

There will be Phonic Tuesdays and Animal Thursdays in September and October; Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Series; along with Kids Yoga in December to help handle the stress around the holidays (yes, kids can feel it too).

This program IS covered and approved by Step-Up Florida. Students from all backgrounds are welcome; home school, public school, private school, and Special Needs. Step-Up students can register through their site. Other students can have parents pre-register via e-mail at least 24 hours before (I need to know how many art kits to bring) and pay through Zelle or cash the day of class.

• Classes are held outside at Eugene Martin Park in Dunnellon.
• Bring water and snacks as needed.
• Classes are on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10:30-11:30 (sometimes a bit longer).
• Classes are 60-75 minutes (depending on the size of the class)
• Each series is $25, consisting of 2-3 classes.
• I will read a book at the beginning of every class, followed by instructions for the project.
• The yoga classes will have an added physical component to them, introducing your little ones to some yoga postures.
• All classes are appropriate for 5-11 year olds. For the phonics classes, it all depends on their level of comprehension.
• Classes are in a covered picnic table area with a playground.
• Dress accordingly for paint, glue, etc.
• Bathroom facilities are open at the park.

Many people don’t realize in my ‘first life’ I majored in Fine Art at The Cooper Union in Manhattan back in the 1980’s. Drawing and Sculpture were my majors. Also, I am a certified substitute teacher for Citrus County Schools and am certified through Oxford Seminars in TEFL. I taught English for 2 years in Korea to 5-11 year olds and on-line through the VIPKid and Qkids platforms, to children in China.
